Discover one of Italy’s most quietly extraordinary wine regions—Alto Piemonte—set in the foothills of Monte Rosa, the second-highest peak in Europe
Our stay is centered at a beautiful agriturismo perched atop a hill planted with Nebbiolo vineyards, immersed in a 20-hectare wooded property overlooking the plains and the castles of Valdengo and Ternengo. It is a setting that invites you to slow down, take in the view, and settle into the rhythms of the land.
This ancient winemaking area is home to Nebbiolo vines—the same noble grape behind the famed Barolo and Barbaresco of southern Piemonte, just 100 miles away. Here, however, Nebbiolo tells a different story. Shaped by mineral-rich soils and distinctive geology, Alto Piemonte wines are nuanced, elegant, and deeply expressive of place.
Wine exploration is guided throughout by Sommelier Danilo Ingannamorte, whose long-standing personal relationships with the region’s winemakers open doors rarely available to visitors. Danilo knows these producers not just professionally, but personally—sharing their stories, philosophies, and wines through tastings that reflect both deep tradition and thoughtful innovation.
Food is central to the gathering. Chef Alice Delcourt shares her vision of slow food cuisine, rooted in tradition and shaped by her celebrated cooking style. Using seasonal, local ingredients, Alice leads hands-on cooking classes where you’ll quite literally get your hands dirty—learning techniques, preparing memorable dishes, and gathering for long, leisurely meals meant to be savored.
Time at the table is unhurried. Meals stretch on, conversations deepen, glasses refill, and the pleasure of good company becomes part of the rhythm of the days. The estate’s wine cellar becomes a natural gathering place—its cool stone walls and quiet presence offering an intimate backdrop for tasting, conversation, and discovery.

There is also space to move and breathe. Walks through the vineyards and surrounding woodland invite quiet moments in nature, while optional hikes offer a chance to experience the landscape on foot, at your own pace.
This is an invitation to taste deeply, move gently, and spend time well—immersed in Alto Piemonte’s wines, its people, and the simple luxury of shared meals, conversation, and connection.
